I have spent the day scrapbooking, not only because I have been trying to get to it all week, but also because the power was out most of the day and there was nothing else I could do! I am off work all week - stress leave, and it has not been the picnic I would have liked. I have been feeling quite out of sorts and even a bit depressed, which has been a real bummer and has totally gotten in the way of my scrapbooking!! Today I have done a few cool pages. I think two are for specific dares or challenges and some just because.

Here is another along the 'doodle' theme:

CJ helped me with this one. I had started it and was stuck and he is a great help, which is pretty shocking considering he is an 11 year old boy!! but he definitely has a flair for this sort of design thing. At the moment he says he wants to be a graphic designer, which I am excited about. Anyway these photos are from Alyssa's 10th birthday, and I spent hours on this cool cake and then didn't take any photos in the light! duh! the tags are all basic grey Fusion.

I did this page for a dare - the effers Dare 61 - photo of the day. It had to be a photo taken that day. I like the colours in it, and love the 'water droplets'. YOu should have seen me trying to get the photo off the camera and then printed before the power went off again!
I really enjoyed this page too - another dare for Oz Dares #18 Window to my Soul. I loved the page done by Michelle and had a hard time thinking of any other way to approach the subject. I got to use one of my doodles which was cool, but the new white pen I bought - for $10!!!! did not live up to expectations. It was a sharpie paint and it just soaked into the paper. It turned out ok though.
